UPDATE: On Octobe 25, 2013, the DPD had issued a claim that Janae and Shania had been found and are safe at home. No other details have been given.
DETROIT- Detroit Police say two young girls are missing on the city's west side.
DETROIT- Detroit Police say two young girls are missing on the city's west side.
The mother of 10-year-old Shania Jolly and 12-year-old Janae Jolly said the girls were nowhere to be found when she went to pick them up from Erma J. Henderson School at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, October 23,2013.
Both girls were seen around 4 p.m. leaving the school through the main doors and walking toward Chicago Blvd.
Shania is described as a black female, 5'1" and 150 lbs. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants. She had braids in her hair and was wearing silver stud earrings.
Janae is described as a black female 5'1" and 150 lbs. She too was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and black shiny boots. She has braids in her hear and was wearing silver stud earrings.
